I am having a problemn when WMP11 plays ANY audio (CD, mp3, etc) - the audio randomly stutters and skips throughout playback. This is NOT a hardware issue - as several other apps play the same media sources without problems (iTunes, Quicktime, RealPlayer, etc). Does anyone have any ideas?

WMP 11 wont seek, aborts playback, on XP
Ripping my CD's with WMP11 and on playback I hear static over the music, pops and complete cutout (short to 3 second duration) of the audio. I've tried switching from the default WMA recording format to Variable Bit Rate and re-ripping the CD's, have copy protect unchecked and no still improvement.
